Fetch the CSV file of all NYC subway stations from DATA.NY.GOV, open it with Excel to move the column 'Stop Name' right to the left, and import it into a Notion database with the 'Merge with CSV' option.
Rename the column 'GTFS Latitude' to 'Lat' and the column 'GTFS Longitude' to 'Lon'.
To add a nice icon to all the stations, click on the checkbox just to the left of the 'Stop Name' column header, then on the '...' menu at the top right, then 'Edit icon'.
Copy the link to the database, go to Create a map, authorise GeoNotion in Notion, paste the database link, copy the embed link, go back to your Notion page to paste the link as an 'Embed', and enjoy the map!
That is all it takes to create in Notion an interactive map of the 496 stations. Note that in the free version of geoNotion, you will only see 50 stations.
