Get started with geoNotion in 5 minutes

In Notion, create a new database, preferably 'inline', so that you can view at the same time the map and the database. Add two properties named respectively 'Lat' and 'Lon', and give them the type 'Number'. Add a property named 'Link' (or whatever you want) and give it the type 'Url'.

In the 6-dot menu of the database, choose the 'Copy link' option.

Come back to this page, ant at the bottom of it, click on 'Create a map now'.

Click on the 'key' button on the right of 'Notion workspace' to begin the authorisation process in Notion.

Select the appropriate workspace at the top right, review the screen, and click on 'Select pages'.

Select the Notion page (or a parent page) where you created the database, and click on 'Allow access'.

Notice that the name of your workspace is now displayed in the 'Notion workspace' field.
Next, paste the link from the Notion database into the 'Notion database link' field'.

If the link is correct, it will be replaced by the name of the database, and the embed link will appear. Click on the 'Copy' button next to the link to copy it.

Return to Notion, and on an empty line paste the link, and choose 'Paste as embed'.

Zoom into the map to the location of your marker, right-click and choose 'New marker'.

Add an icon and an URL link, right-click on the map and choose 'Refresh markers'. Explore the other functions of geoNotion, and have fun!
